A Visit to the Estonian Drift Finals at Raassilla RX

While visiting Estonia for personal reasons, I took the chance to stop by Raassilla RX for the Estonian Drift finals. An invitation from my friend Aleksandr gave me one more reason to make the trip—and I’m glad I did.

The atmosphere pulled me in straight away. Between the energy coming through the speakers and the support from the crowd, there was plenty to enjoy before even taking a closer look at the cars.

A track I’d love to drive

Raassilla looks like my kind of track. I haven’t driven it yet, but the elevation changes and opportunities for wall rides definitely caught my attention. From the sidelines, it looks demanding—the kind of layout where getting the line right and putting a run together must feel seriously rewarding.

The car builds were on point too. What stood out most to me was the style: the liveries, the details, and how everything came together. There’s clearly a lot of taste and personality in this scene, and that’s something I always appreciate.

More than the action on track

There was plenty going on beyond the drifting, with karting and a selection of food and drink vendors. From what I tried, the food was worth it and reasonably priced—a small detail that makes a full day at an event even better.

I enjoyed being there as a fan, and it left me curious about experiencing the event from the driver’s seat.

Hopefully, one day I’ll bring GSF to Raassilla, line up alongside these drivers, and share some smoke with them.

Until the next one 🫡
